Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, known for speaking her mind, recently addressed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. Speaking about Diljit’s role during the farmers’ protest, Kangana shared her thoughts candidly. “He was one of the main faces during the protests. He defended those who, according to me, were creating havoc. But what’s embarrassing about this? I don’t feel embarrassed about the Prime Minister not meeting me but meeting Diljit. For him, everyone is equal in the public’s eyes,” she said.
Kangana went on to clarify that she doesn’t see this as a disappointment. “I’ve never really had the chance to meet him properly. Maybe I greeted him once and said namaste, but I’ve never sat down and interacted with him. I would love to meet him someday and have a meaningful conversation,” she added.
The conversation gained traction as Kangana and Diljit have had a history of public disagreements, particularly during the farmers’ protest. The two engaged in heated exchanges on social media, with Kangana openly criticizing him and his stance. Despite their differences, Diljit meeting PM Modi seemed to signal a neutral stance from the Prime Minister, something Kangana acknowledged.

Kangana, while addressing the incident, also hinted at the larger picture. “The Prime Minister represents the entire nation. His interactions are not about personal opinions but about connecting with people from all walks of life. That’s how it should be,” she said.
