Alright, deep breaths everyone. If you’re waiting on the CBSE 10th or 12th results, you’re not alone. The big moment might finally be here. As per the latest updates, the CBSE Board is expected to drop the results tomorrow, May 12, anytime between 10 AM and 1 PM. You’ll be able to check them at results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, or cbse.gov.in.

Still no official confirmation from CBSE, but here’s the kicker—DigiLocker has already started displaying “Results Out Soon.” So, yeah, we’re pretty close.

Students will need a few things handy—roll number, school number, centre number, and date of birth. Type those in, hit submit, and boom—your marksheet will pop up. Save it, print it, or just take a screenshot. You’ll also be able to check it on DigiLocker, the UMANG app, or even via SMS if the websites are slow (which they usually are on result day).

And no, don’t expect a topper list again this year. CBSE is sticking to its pandemic-era policy of avoiding those charts. They’re trying to reduce pressure and unnecessary comparison among students, which honestly makes sense.

Last year, girls did better than boys. The trend might continue this time too. Class 12 girls had a pass percentage of 91.52% while boys came in at 85.12%. In Class 10, girls clocked 94.75% and boys were just a little behind at 93.60%. The overall pass rates were pretty solid. Oh, and Trivandrum totally topped the charts with 99.91%. Not bad, right?

If you’re wondering about how grading works, here’s a quick refresher:

MarksGradePoints
91-100A110
81-90A29
71-80B18
61-70B27
51-60C16
41-50C25
31-40D4
21-30E1
0-20E2

If you come across confusing short forms on your result like SJD, QUAL, or UFM, don’t stress. Here’s what they mean:

  • QUAL: You passed and are eligible for the qualifying certificate.
  • SJD: Your result is under judgement.
  • EIOP: You can improve your performance.
  • XXXX: You’ve applied for improvement.
  • UFM: Oops, unfair means used (not good).
  • N.E.: Not eligible.
  • NIOP: Can’t improve performance.
  • R.W.: Result withheld.
  • RT: You need to repeat theory.
  • R.L.: Result will come later.

Now, for those of you asking if you can see your marks before the official release—sorry, not happening. CBSE keeps it tight until the official go-live.

If the website doesn’t load, don’t panic. That happens almost every year because of the rush. Try again after some time, or switch to DigiLocker or SMS method
