Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar are back in the spotlight, and this time it’s not about their public spats. The Queen actress, who has often been at odds with Karan, recently revealed she wants him to act in her directorial. This surprising statement came during her appearance on the popular singing reality show, Indian Idol 15.

When asked if she would ever consider working with Karan’s Dharma Productions, Kangana’s response had the audience laughing. She said, “Karan sir should work in a movie with me. I’ll give him a really good role, and it won’t be about saas-bahu ki chuglibaazi (family dramas full of gossip) or just a PR stunt. It’ll be a proper film where he’ll have a proper role.”

This comment immediately grabbed attention because of their history. Kangana famously called Karan the “flag-bearer of nepotism” on his show Koffee with Karan back in 2017. She also joked about him being the villain of her biopic. The two have had an ongoing cold war ever since, with occasional jabs at each other during interviews and events.

A Twist in Their Equation?

Despite their differences, Kangana’s remarks suggest she is ready to take a fresh approach. While many might see this as sarcasm, others believe Kangana genuinely wants to explore a new dynamic with Karan. Her tone during the interview seemed playful, but the idea of Karan acting in one of her movies is hard to ignore.

Kangana, who has already proved her mettle as a director with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, hinted at her confidence in making films with unique stories. She said her directorial won’t follow the usual Bollywood formula but instead offer something meaningful.

Their Past Feud

Kangana and Karan’s feud started on national television and quickly became one of Bollywood’s biggest controversies. During her appearance on Koffee with Karan, she openly called him out for promoting nepotism in the industry. Since then, the two have taken several indirect digs at each other.

Karan, on the other hand, has often refrained from directly addressing Kangana’s remarks. However, he has occasionally hinted at their strained relationship through cryptic comments in interviews.

Fans React

Fans on social media were quick to react to Kangana’s statement. Some found her idea of casting Karan amusing, while others thought it could lead to an exciting collaboration. “Imagine Kangana directing Karan Johar in a film! That would be something we’ve never seen before,” tweeted one user.

Another fan wrote, “This is Kangana being her witty self. But if Karan ever agrees, it would be a historic moment for Bollywood.”

The Possibility

While it’s hard to say if this will ever happen, the idea itself is intriguing. Karan Johar, who is mostly seen behind the camera, acting in a film directed by Kangana Ranaut sounds like a plot twist straight out of a Bollywood movie.

Whether this was Kangana’s way of mending fences or just a cheeky response, it has sparked conversations across the industry and among fans. If this collaboration does happen, it might just redefine Bollywood’s definition of “unexpected pairings.”

For now, all eyes are on Karan to see if he will respond to Kangana’s proposal. And knowing these two, whatever happens next is bound to make headlines.
