Game Changer Day 3 Box Office Collection Ram Charan’s Film Nears ₹90 Crore Mark

Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, is creating ripples at the box office, though the numbers are not as high as expected. Directed by Shankar, this is his first-ever Telugu film and has been the talk of the town ever since it hit the screens. By the third day, the film has earned an impressive ₹89.6 crore net in India.

Strong Start, But Numbers Drop

The movie opened with a bang, raking in ₹51 crore net across India on its first day, making it one of the highest opening-day collections for a Sankranthi release. However, things slowed down on day two, with collections dipping to ₹21.6 crore—almost a 58% drop. Day three brought in ₹17 crore (Telugu: ₹8 crore; Tamil: ₹1.2 crore; Hindi: ₹7.7 crore; Kannada: ₹10 lakh), keeping its total just shy of the ₹90 crore milestone.

Mixed Performance in Different Languages

While the Telugu version is pulling in steady crowds, the Tamil and Hindi versions haven’t gained as much traction. For example, the morning shows of the Telugu version recorded an 18.01% occupancy, which climbed to 33.22% for the afternoon. These figures are much higher compared to the Tamil and Hindi versions, which are struggling to find a foothold.

Crossing a Milestone

Despite the mixed reactions, Game Changer has already surpassed the lifetime earnings of Shankar’s previous film, Indian 2. Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 had earned ₹81.32 crore net in India. Achieving this feat in just three days is a huge accomplishment, even if the film’s overall performance has been slightly underwhelming compared to expectations.

Audience Response

Fans of Ram Charan have been flocking to theaters to see their favorite star in action. Kiara Advani, playing the female lead, has also been praised for her performance. However, many viewers have pointed out pacing issues in the film, which might explain the dip in collections after the opening day.

What’s Next for Game Changer?

With a holiday weekend boosting initial collections, it will be interesting to see if Game Changer can maintain its momentum. The ₹100 crore mark is within reach, but the film will need a strong push during weekdays to stay on track.

Shankar’s grand vision and Ram Charan’s star power have created buzz, but the numbers reveal a more complex picture. The team will be hoping for word-of-mouth to work its magic in the coming days.

Conclusion

For now, Game Changer is inching closer to the ₹100 crore club. It’s not the runaway hit some expected, but it’s still pulling in significant numbers, especially in Telugu-speaking regions. Whether it can turn the tide in the days ahead remains to be seen.
