Lucky Ali recalled how Hrithik was unsure about singing the lyrics “honthon pe pyaas hai, milne ki aas hai” on screen. “I told him, ‘You really want to say ‘aas hai’ in front of everyone? Hrithik told him, ‘Papa, I don’t want to say ‘aas’ on screen!’ But Rakesh Roshan wasn’t having any of it. He turned to Lucky and said, ‘What are you teaching him?!’ Lucky laughed as he narrated the memory, making the audience burst into laughter.
