Today, the Indian stock market closed with Nifty below 22,450, witnessing declines across major indices. India’s VIX rose by 1.86%. Nifty Midcap and Nifty Next 50 climbed, while NIFTY 100 and NIFTY 500 dropped. NIFTY Midcap 100 and NIFTY Smallcap 100 saw gains, while NIFTY Auto and NIFTY Private Bank declined. NIFTY FMCG had a slight increase, and Nifty IT and NIFTY Pharma rose.

Nifty Midcap rose to 10,973.75, gaining 91.15 points (0.84%).
Nifty Next 50 climbed to 64,134.55, up by 430.10 points (0.68%).
Nifty Small Cap 50 closed at 7,846.90, showing an increase of 26.95 points (0.34%).
Nifty Mid Cap 50 settled at 14,083.25, up by 118.90 points (0.85%).
NIFTY 100 stood at 23,232.10, down by 97.70 points (-0.42%).
NIFTY 500 closed at 20,839.35, showing a decrease of 28.55 points (-0.14%).

Nifty IT climbed to 33,666.25, up by 111.85 points (0.33%).
NIFTY Pharma closed at 18,994.65, showing an increase of 116.50 points (0.62%).
